Where will it take me
To the Mpumalanga Province that hosts the world-renowned Kruger National Park, nestled in the Eastern parts of South Africa, Mpumalanga sharing borders with Mozambique and Swaziland.

Worth a splurge
Visit the Stevenson-Hamilton Memorial Library in Skukuza Rest Camp in the Kruger National Park. Stevenson-Hamilton was the first Ranger in the Kruger Park and ruled from 1902 until his retirement in 1946.
Something to Consider
Spending an additional night in Johannesburg to arrange a Tour to Soweto, one of our Urban black Townships in the area. Here you will find former homes of Mr Nelson Mandela and Artsbishop Desmond Tutu where you may swop stories with the locals in typical Shebeens (African Bars) or try authentic African cuisine in a township restaurant.
Itinerary:
Sunday – Day 1:
Guests arrive at Our Tented Safari Camp in the Klaserie Reserve, their Home for the next Couple of Nights, All dependents on the time of arrival we will have time to do a Kruger National Park Open Vehicle Safari or you will only have time to settle in before a short Afternoon Camp Orientation. Hereafter Guests enjoy a relaxed, Nature Walk on the property where we might come across some Zebra, Impala and Eland. Guests will be welcomed the first night by a Tranditional South African “Braai” around crackling campfire. (DB)
Monday – Day 2:
Coffee and rusks will be ready to enjoy for a very early start to the day, getting ready to embark on a Full Day Kruger National Park Open Vehicle Safari with packed Breakfast. Lunch in the Kruger National Park at Satara Rest Camp where guests have different Restaurant options to choose from (for Guests own account) Safari continue after lunch in search of what the Kruger National Park has to offer. We arrive back at Camp in the late afternoon. (BDB)
Tuesday – Day 3: (On our 8 Day Extension)
We Early morning out on a short Kruger National Park Open Vehicle Safari until we return for a late Breakfast back at camp.
During early afternoon, guests will experience Cultural Dancing, a Tour through a local village and enjoy a Traditional lunch.
Back at camp, guests will have the choice to relax at camp or book an Optional Sunset Safari @ R 450/p to be introduced to what the Spotlight will unveil in the darkness. (BLDB)
Wednesday – Day 4: (On our 8 Day Extension)
An early morning departure on a Morning Open Vehicle Safari in Kruger National Park with a Packed breakfast served at Satara Camp. The Open Vehicle Safari continuous until around Lunchtime when we exit the Park, and stop for Lunch at the Tented Camp.
Optional: Another exciting afternoon awaits when guests depart on an Afternoon Sunset Cruise on a Blyde River Dam Boat Cruise, with Hippo, Crocodile and the world renowned “Tufa” Waterfalls. Snacks and soft drinks are also packed and included to enjoy on the Boat Cruise @ R 450/p. (BLDB)
Thursday – Day 5: (On our 8 Day Extension)
Today Guests will visit two Rehabilitation Centre. The morning at Leisure until around Breakfast, before we depart for the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, where the Centre Care for insured Animals and Birds which cannot be released back into the Wild. We finish in time to travel to the Hoedspruit Cheetah Breeding Project where guests can enjoy lunch (for their own account) before they embark on a 2 hour tour starting with a DVD presentation, opportunity to view Cheetah, African Wild Dog and many other rare and endangered species in their natural habitat. Also visit the fascinating open air vulture restaurant. We back at Camp late afternoon. (BDB)
Friday – Day 6: (On our 8 Day Extension)
An early Breakfast served before departing on a Panorama Mountain Tour visiting the Blyde River Canyon view point, the 2nd Biggest Green Canyon in the world. From here guests can see the “Three Rondavels” – three huge rock shaped pinnacles in the form of traditional African beehive huts. The Tour also includes the view point, God’s Window and Lisbon Waterfall.
Guests enjoy Lunch (for their own account) in Graskop at Harries Pancake before we make our way back to our Camp. On our way back we travel through a Pine and Eucalyptus Forestry area. (BDB)
Saturday – Day 7: (On our 8 Day Extension)
Bright and early wake-up Call before we depart for the last Full day Kruger National Park Safari, Breakfast and Lunch will be enjoyed in the Park. Arriving back at camp in the late afternoon when guests will reflect on the past week’s experiences while a Farewell Dinner is prepared to be enjoyed under African Skies if the Weather Permits. (BDB)
Wednesday on our 3 Day/2 Night or Sunday on our 8 Day Extension:
After Breakfast, Guests depart for the airport, en-route to their next exciting Destination. (B)
